Test Results

T-SPOT®.TB test results will be reported within 36-48 hours following receipt of the blood specimen. 

T-SPOT.TB test results will include both a qualitative and quantitative result:

• Results will be reported as either; positive, negative, borderline or invalid
• Spot counts for each well will be reported

Note:  It is recommended that borderline or invalid results be repeated with a new blood specimen.

Test results will be faxed to the designated person identified on the Oxford Diagnostic Laboratories Customer Agreement.  In addition, a hard copy will be mailed.
